How do I configure Apple Mail for my E-Mail Accounts?

The following article explains how to download mail from your hostmysite.com account using Apple's Mail Program.

Important Notes:
1. Your 'Outgoing Mail Server' will be the service provider that you use to connect to the internet, ie: smtp.telus.net.
2. Your 'Incoming Mail Server' will be your domain's mailserver name on Chromata's system, ie: mail.yourdomain.com.
3. Your 'User Name' will be your User name '@' your domain's mailserver name on Chromata's system, ie: username@yourdomain.com.

Apple Mail

1. In Mail, go to the Mail menu and click on Preferences.


2. Select and existing or Create a new email account and configure as shown, substituing your username and domain name where applicable.
   
3. Select the Advanced Tab and ensure your authentication is set to password.
