The Model 36 has been designed to give you the highest possible recovery in lumber from your log supply, while at the same time assuring you of a level of production which will make this mill practical for a commercial sawing operation.

The 19 gauge (0.0042") band gives you the thinnest kerf available on any commercial sized band saw (Approximately 5/64"). The result is a very low yield of sawdust and a corresponding increase in lumber recovery.

The Model 36 operates in the principle that the log being cut remains stationary while the saw head travel back and forth cutting successive boards off the log. The double cutting 5" band allows the Model 36 to cut in both directions, thereby increasing the potential production of the sawmill.

Equipped with the optional 2 saw edger, the Model 36 will produce finished lumber in one pass. The edger is lowered hydraulically when needed and activated with an electro-magnetic clutch. The two edger saws are easily positioned by had to produce lubber to exacting dimensions. Like the band saw, the edger saws can also cut in both directions.
